Halton Ecopartner Kristen McKendry writes: "I'm teaching an Emergency Preparedness workshop on Feb 22 at 7:00 p.m. at the LDS Church 770 Dundas St. West, Mississauga (west of Mavis). It's for a women's group, so I'm sorry, but only women are invited this time. I'll be discussing the basic principles of preparedness (the whys, whats, and hows). Being prepared helps you face all kinds of emergencies (from ice storms and earthquakes to illness or unemployment) with confidence and security. Seating is unlimited, and there is no charge."
